You may be at risk if you witnessed or experienced:

*A natural disaster
*Rape
*Severe automobile accident

What are symptoms of PTSD?
*Reliving the event (nightmares, flashbacks)
*Avoiding situations which remind you of the event
*Negative thoughts
*Excessively “keyed up” (difficulty concentrating, startled by noises, difficulty sleeping, keep back to the wall)

From the Doctor:
“Approximately one in 11 people will experience PTSD in their lifetime,” said Dr.Kerry DeJesus, psychologist and investigator at CTT. “Symptoms can range from mild to severely affecting quality of life.”
